All Paws Special Care Boarding
Medical-Grade Boarding for Peace of Mind
Standard boarding isn't always an option for pets with complex needs. Whether your dog is a senior, recovering from surgery, or requires a strict medication schedule, All Paws Special Care Boarding provides a safe, clinical environment managed by a retired nurse. We offer the professional oversight your pet needs so you can travel with total peace of mind.
The "Nurse on Duty" Experience
Because we operate at a high-intensity clinical level, our boarding is highly exclusive. Your pet isn't just a "boarder"; they are a guest receiving professional nursing attention:
Daily Care Logs: We maintain a detailed clinical record for every guest. You will receive a copy of these "Daily Intake Sheets" upon discharge, documenting feedings, medication adherence, and overall activity levels.
Real-Time Reassurance: We understand the anxiety of leaving a medically fragile pet. You are welcome to check in at any time, and we provide photo or video updates of your baby.
Precision Medication: From insulin to complex pill cycles, we ensure every dose is received. If a guest is "pill-smart," we utilize our specialized New Bark City Cookbook "hiders" to keep treatment stress-free.
Our Safety & Emergency Protocol
Your pet’s safety is our absolute priority. To ensure the highest level of protection, we require a signed Emergency Care Disclosure prior to boarding:
The "When in Doubt, Send Them Out" Philosophy: As a retired nurse, I have always lived by one rule: if there is even a shadow of a doubt regarding a patient’s stability, we do not wait. We act. If we cannot reach you or your emergency contact immediately, our disclosure form grants New Bark City the authority to transport your pet to emergency care. We will never gamble with a life when seconds count.
Tiered Medical Backup: While we handle intensive nursing on-campus, we are prepared for any situation. We work closely with our primary Veterinarian and are partnered with Blue Pearl 24-Hour Emergency Care should your pet’s needs exceed our on-site capabilities.
The Crisis Care Initiative: Protecting the Bond
"I’ve seen it firsthand: patients in the hospital pretending they feel better just so they can be discharged to get home to their pets. They risk their own lives because the fear of what will happen to their 'babies' is greater than the fear of their own illness. I’ve done the legwork myself to ensure those animals were safe so my patients could finally focus on healing. At New Bark City, we believe no one should have to choose between their life and their pet’s safety." — Renee, Founder & Retired Nurse
Our vision for the new facility includes four dedicated Crisis Care Spaces. These are pre-funded, emergency placements reserved for our neighbors in their most vulnerable moments:
Emergency Medical Transitions: If an owner is rushed to the ER, we coordinate with Social Services to retrieve the pet and provide immediate, medical-grade boarding.
The "Recovery Bridge": We care for the pet while the owner focuses on their recovery, providing regular photo and video updates to the hospital so the patient has the peace of mind needed to heal.
The "Legacy" Safety Net: If a patient passes away, their pet is never "left behind" or sent to a high-kill shelter. They are seamlessly transitioned into our care wings, where we find them a new forever home that honors their previous owner's legacy.
How You Can Fund a Crisis Space
Because these situations are emergencies, these spaces must be pre-funded so the owner never has to worry about the cost while they are in a hospital bed.
$150: Funds an "Emergency Intake"—covering the first 72 hours of medical intake, nutrition, and nurse-managed care.
$500: Be a "Crisis Care Hero"—this funds a dedicated emergency space for one month, ensuring a bed is always open for a neighbor in distress.
$2,000: Be a "Foundational Sponsor"—this fully endows one of our four crisis spaces for a season, ensuring the human-animal bond is protected regardless of the owner’s ability to pay.
