Phoebe’s Rehome & Adoption Center is the final destination for our residents once they have cleared their medical protocols or completed their emotional rehabilitation. Our goal is to ensure that the "bridge" between rescue and family is strong, stable, and built to last forever.

​We are fiercely protective of our survivors. To ensure they never face the trauma of being "thrown away" again, we follow a rigorous clinical screening process:

  • ​Extensive Background Checks: Every applicant is thoroughly vetted to ensure a safe and stable environment.

  • ​Neutral Territory Meet-and-Greets: We observe initial interactions in a neutral park setting to gauge natural chemistry.

  • ​In-Home Clinical Assessments: We perform home visits to see how the dog interacts with the specific layout of your house, your children, and your existing pets.

​The "New Bark City" Graduation Kit

​We believe the first 48 hours in a new home are the most critical. Every "graduate" leaves with a piece of New Bark City to ease the transition:

  • ​The "Home-Scented" Gift: A handmade toy that smells like our facility, providing a familiar scent to comfort them in their new environment.

  • ​A Familiar "Doggie Bag": A bag of their current high-quality food to prevent digestive upset during the move, along with their favorite toy from their time with us.
